Apply for the Wingara Mura – Bunga Barrabugu Summer Program!

14 – 19 January 2018 will see the University of Sydney’s Wingara Mura – Bunga Barrabugu Summer Program. It is an amazing way to try out different interests, and start thinking about what you might want to do after school.
Wingara Mura is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students going into Years 9 and 10 in 2018, and Bunga Barrabugu is for those going into Years 11 and 12. Both programs are based around a camp where you get to live on campus at the University of Sydney with your peers, and spend the week involved in great activities in the University’s world-class facilities during the day, and experiencing great adventures such as harbour cruises, theatre trips, or battle of the bands at night.
“When all 206 students assembled together, the feeling of unity and power was incredible. In that moment, I felt overwhelmingly proud and lucky to be Indigenous”, said a 2017 Wingara Mura student.
“I learnt where my passions lie.”
