Bursaries to attend INSEAD short executive leadership program.
Chief Executive Women and the Roberta Sykes Indigenous Education Foundation are keenly seeking to support two Indigenous female managers to travel to Singapore for a five-day business leadership programme.
The Leading for Results programme is a unique course designed to provide experienced managers with crucial skills for the performance-oriented leadership needed in a globalised business world. Over the course of the five days, participants will focus on improving their effectiveness as managers, and becoming leaders who can set strategic visions and motivate teams through periods of change and crisis.
The course offers participants the chance to recognise their personal leadership style, and come away with concrete strategies to develop their leadership and communication abilities and allow them to grow professionally.
Each Chief Executive Women - Roberta Sykes Bursary includes the cost of tuition, return flights, accommodation, and most meals, and represents a fantastic opportunity for managers to self-reflect and hone their skills.
Past Bursary recipient, Pennie Weedon, who attended the Leading for Results programme at INSEAD in 2016, found it to be a “unique, fantastic, insightful, empowering experience.”
“Importantly the course allowed me to observe and reflect on my own personal leadership journey, the different aspects of my style and notably how I impact others and my organisation,” she said.
“The diversity of the participants and their experiences was stimulating, coupled by the knowledge and passion of the programme directors made for a very respectful and engaged learning environment”.
Applications are now open and close 31 July 2017. Further information on the Leading for Results course is available here, or to apply for the Chief Executive Women - Roberta Sykes Bursary please click here.
