Roberta Sykes Bursaries for international executive leadership programs
Thursday 19 January 2017
The past six years have seen increased opportunities and tremendous success by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander postgraduates at the world’s leading universities.
Roberta Sykes Indigenous Education Foundation Bursaries support attendance at executive education programs overseas, and are a great option for those who are more established in their careers, and looking for short-term professional development.
Former Roberta Sykes bursary recepient Fiona Jose, who undertook the Authentic Leadership Development course at Harvard University, said her experience of connecting with pioneers in her field helped her further progress her career goals.
"My time spent with leaders of the world and their recognition of my contribution and the complexities of my work gave me the space, time, energy and confidence to scope clear my purpose as a Leader", she said.
