Position Title: Website Communications Assistant
Reporting to: Digital Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator
Employment Basis: Part time (20-25 hours per week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person who has an interest in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their families alongside a team that is passionate about Indigenous education.
Supporting the Digital Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator, the role includes:
- researching, maintaining and updating information and scholarships listings on The Aspiration Initiative’s website
- ensuring timely and appropriate responses to online and telephone scholarship enquiries
- researching material, assisting with writing content, and liaising with contributors to TAI’s Indigenous Scholarships monthly e-newsletter.
The Ideal Person
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are well organised, can sometimes work under pressure to meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail and good communication and research skills. You can work independently on your own work as well as collaborate with the team on projects and ideas. We work with a wide range of stakeholders so your ability to be respectful, maintain confidentiality, be sensitive and understand issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are important.
Whilst not essential, experience working with Indigenous people in education, communication or marketing would be advantageous, as would expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
