Making what seems impossible possible

The Aurora Indigenous Scholars International Study Tour began in 2011.

Since then, 45 talented Indigenous students and graduates have visited leading overseas universities such as Oxford and Cambridge in the UK and Harvard, Stanford, Columbia and New York University in the US. Following the annual tour, 22 participants have applied for, and 20 have been accepted into, at least one of these leading overseas universities.

Over the last 3 years, 15 tour participants have been awarded scholarships through the Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust or through the Roberta Sykes Indigenous Education Foundation to support them in their studies overseas.
